The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), in partnership with the Aseer History Center, is celebrating the historical heritage of the Aseer region and exploring its cultural depth through a diverse collection of exhibits and specialized discussion sessions, with which it contributes to the “Aseer Manuscripts Exhibition”.
The exhibition is being hosted by the Cultural House in Ahad Rafidah and is sponsored by the Aseer Development Authority.
Darah is showcasing a collection of rare historical artifacts, including photographs displayed in the historical images section, alongside manuscripts exhibited for the first time, which talk about parts of the region’s history.
In partnership with the Aseer History Center, Darah also organizes discussions and activities involving experts and specialists, which will show the historical value of the manuscripts, workshops on how to restore old documents, and sessions for recording the region’s oral history.
Darah participates as a partner in t
he organization of this exhibition; its input reflects its commitment to highlighting the history, richness, and memory of the region.
The exhibition will continue until September 5.
