Riyadh: King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, accompanied by Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, today received members of the ministerial committee at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman. The committee was established by the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit to address developments in the Gaza Strip.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the committee is chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah. The discussions focused on efforts to end the war on Gaza and ensure the unhindered flow of humanitarian aid into the region. The committee also addressed initiatives to halt violations against the Palestinian people and the occupied territories by the Israeli occupation authorities.
