The moderate weather, enhanced by the park's natural features, provided a comfortable atmosphere for families and friends to gather and enjoy the outdoors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the park's lush perennial trees and extensive greenery significantly contributed to a drop in temperatures, encouraging many to visit. The park has emerged as a key tourist destination in the region, offering natural beauty and integrated service facilities that cater to the needs of visitors, allowing them to enjoy quality time during the holiday.
King Fahd Park is one of the largest in the Kingdom, spanning over 4 million square meters. It boasts green spaces covering more than 653,000 square meters, 35,215 trees and palm trees, a playground, a Roman theater, and various paths for cycling and walking. The park also features children's games and fountains, enhancing its natural beauty. In recent years, over 147,000 trees and shrubs have been planted, including 16,000 natural local trees like Talh, Ghaf, Sidr, Qard, and Arak.
The park's light garden, adorned with tulips, lanterns, and glowing ears of corn, adds an aesthetic dimension, offering visitors a unique ambiance. King Fahd Park stands as a distinctive tourist icon in the region, remaining a favored destination for families throughout the year.
