King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language Spotlights Projects, Achievements in July 2025 Bulletin

Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) has released its July 2025 media bulletin, highlighting key achievements and initiatives to promote the Arabic language locally and internationally.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the bulletin featured the launch of a dictionary of wildlife terms, developed in collaboration with the National Center for Wildlife (NCW). This comprehensive dictionary includes over 400 scientific entries and serves as a unified reference for researchers engaged in wildlife studies.

The bulletin also outlined specialized training programs aimed at teaching Arabic, including a notable partnership with the Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR). This initiative is specifically designed to cater to non-native speakers, enhancing their proficiency in the Arabic language.

Additionally, the academy announced the opening of registration for the Hamza academic test for Arabic proficiency, which is scheduled for August 31, 2025. This initiative is in cooperation with the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (Qiyas), aiming to assess and certify individuals in their command of Arabic.

Further activities highlighted in the bulletin include training courses conducted in Trkiye and Bangladesh, participation in the Almadinah Book Fair, and academic sessions on the role of artificial intelligence in supporting the Arabic language. These sessions were organized in partnership with the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA-OIC).

The academy reaffirmed its dedication to fostering partnerships, enhancing language policies, and strengthening the global position of the Arabic language. This commitment is being pursued through various educational platforms and community initiatives designed to promote and preserve the richness of the Arabic language globally.
