KSrelief and Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage to Establish School in Gaza Strip

Deir Al-Balah:Gaza Strip: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage to establish and operate the Riyadh School Al-Namudhajiyah in Deir Al-Balah via videoconference.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage Dr. Essam Abu Khalil.

The project aims to resume basic education for children affected by the war in the Gaza Strip by establishing a well-equipped school for 720 male and female students from first through sixth grade. To accommodate the prevailing conditions, the school will operate in two daily shifts.

The initiative includes equipping the school and developing its operational and technical infrastructure. This involves providing classrooms, furniture, and educational materials, as well as renovating and completing essential facilities such as water and sanitation, solar energy, internet access, ventilation, and surveillance cameras.

This agreement is part of KSrelief's broader efforts to support the education sector in crisis-stricken areas, contributing to a safe and sustainable learning environment for children affected by the war in the Gaza Strip.
