Assistant Supervisor General for Planning and Development of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Aqeel Al-Ghamdi has met with Chairman of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development (KazAID) Arken Arystanov on the sidelines of the 8th International Meeting on Triangular Cooperation organized by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Lisbon, Portugal. During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest, primarily volunteer programs, the role of technology in humanitarian work, and the exchange of expertise and knowledge between the two countries in this field. Al-Ghamdi highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian and developmental support, which has exceeded $132 billion for more than 171 countries around the world, emphasizing the active role of the Kingdom in providing humanitarian aid through KSrelief. Since its establishment, KSrelief has provided over $7 billion in aid benefiting 102 countries across various relief sectors. For his part, Arystanov commended the relief and humanitarian projects and programs offered by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of those in need worldwide.
