Dar es salaam: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully implemented a volunteer medical project for pediatric cardiac surgery in Tanzania’s Dar es Salaam. Conducted from September 5 to 13, the initiative involved 27 volunteers from various medical specialties.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the project, KSrelief’s volunteer medical team examined 80 children and performed 31 open-heart surgeries. All surgeries were completed successfully, addressing critical healthcare needs in the region.
This project is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing volunteer medical initiatives, carried out through KSrelief in several countries requiring assistance. These efforts aim to provide support to individuals and low-income families in need.
