The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) began distributing emergency shelter and food assistance on Sunday to people affected by the recent flash floods in Yemen's Marib Governorate, which have caused severe human and material losses. The assistance included food items, 400 tents, and 430 shelter kits, benefiting 1,842 families. Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Abd Rabbu Miftah commended the rapid intervention of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, in assisting families affected by the floods and rains. He emphasized the importance of the assistance in helping alleviate the suffering of the affected families. This relief effort was in response to the humanitarian appeal issued by local authorities in Marib Governorate to aid those affected by the floods and rains in the area. It was part of the Kingdom's longstanding commitment to supporting the brotherly Yemeni people during various crises and hardships. --SPA 20:30 Local Time 17:30 GMT Source: Saudi Press Agency
