Al-Mahra: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has delivered essential winter aid to residents in Yemen’s Al-Mahra governorate. The initiative saw the distribution of 500 winter bags in the districts of Man’ar and Al-Masilah, forming a critical part of KSrelief’s emergency shelter project.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Salem Abdullah Nimer, the Secretary-General of Al-Mahra’s local council, emphasized the project’s significance as winter approaches. He highlighted the vital support it provides to desert areas facing harsh cold conditions and expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia and KSrelief for their continuous aid to the people of Yemen.

This project is a segment of a larger effort that involves the distribution of 5,300 winter bags across six governorates. It reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment, through KSrelief, to extend humanitarian assistance to Yemenis during challenging winter months and to mitigate their suffering in times of crisis.
