Gaza: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully distributed 1,462 food baskets to Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip. Each basket was allocated to a family, reflecting the organization's ongoing commitment to addressing the pressing needs of Palestinians amid challenging circumstances.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the distribution process adhered to criteria prioritizing households headed by women with more than five members, families in need of social protection, and those with members suffering from malnutrition. This strategy ensures that assistance is directed to the most vulnerable groups within the community.
The Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, acting as KSrelief's partner in Gaza, managed the distribution efforts. Beneficiary lists were carefully compiled and approved in collaboration with international organizations operating in the region, guaranteeing that the aid reached those in dire need.
Recipients have expressed profound gratitude towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, acknowledging the critical timing of the support. This initiative is seen as a vital intervention during a period of famine and deteriorating living conditions in Gaza. The beneficiaries also commended Saudi Arabia's ongoing support and its leadership role in supporting the Palestinian people.
