KSrelief Sends 36400 kg of Kidney-Dialysis Supplies to Yemen

Al-Wadeeah Cross Point, Provided by Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), four trucks laden with 36400 kilograms of medical supplies and solutions related to kidney dialysis to be distributed over a number of Yemeni Governorates, have crossed the border point of Al-Wadeeah, it was reported here today.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Muallim, KSrelief Director of Medical and Environmental Assistance, said that the crossing of relief items, which took place yesterday, is part of a convoy of 15 trucks scheduled to enter Yemen through Al-Wadeeah cross point in the coming few days. The total consignment embodies 116209 kg of medical supplies and solutions to be distributed over a number of kidney dialysis centers in several Yemeni Governorates, he added.

Dr. Al-Muallim said that the shipment is a continuation of relief and humanitarian projects extended by KSrelief, Saudi Arabia’s relief arm, to enhance the health sector in Yemen.
