KSrelief Signs Agreement to Provide Primary Health Care and Water to Displaced People in Saada Governorate, Yemen

Riyadh, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed, on the sidelines of the 3rd Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum (RIHF3) in Riyadh, a cooperation agreement with a civil society organization to provide primary health care and water to the displaced people of Saada governorate, Yemen; 1,427 people are expected to benefit from the agreement.

The agreement stipulates providing medical supplies, operating mobile medical clinics, disposing of medical waste, preserving the environment, providing water in sufficient quantities for the displaced, and distributing water containers to the beneficiary families, to protect lives, limit the spread of diseases and epidemics, secure emergency health services for the displaced in the liberated areas of Saada governorate, and save and preserve the lives of the displaced and the host communities through an integrated approach that improves health care in the governorate.

The agreement is part of the Kingdom’s efforts, represented by the KSrelief, to improve the health situation in Yemeni governorates, without discrimination.
