KSrelief’s Masam Project Helps Clear over 800 Explosives in Yemen

Riyadh: The Masam Project of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief), dedicated to clearing explosives in Yemen, dismantled 805 during the fourth week of October 2025, including 676 unexploded ordnance, 102 anti-tank mines, 25 anti-personnel mines, and two explosive devices. Since the start of the project, a total of 520,629 explosives have been cleared. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, is committed to clearing Yemeni lands of all explosives that have tragically resulted in the loss of lives and injuries to innocent children, women, and the elderly.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the Masam Project represents a significant effort in mitigating the dangers posed by explosives scattered throughout war-torn regions in Yemen. These efforts are crucial in ensuring the safety and security of civilians who have been living under the threat of unexploded ordnance and landmines.



The initiative demonstrates a humanitarian commitment from Saudi Arabia, aiming to restore normalcy to affected areas and support the rebuilding of communities devastated by conflict. The project’s ongoing success is a testament to the dedication of teams on the ground who work tirelessly to identify and dismantle hazardous devices.
