Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attempt by Houthi militia to carry out a UAV attack on Makkah. This act has been denounced as a violation of the sanctity of the Qiblah, showing a disregard for its religious significance and offending the sentiments of Muslims around the globe.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's statement, which was reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday, declared Kuwait's unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia. It expressed support for all actions undertaken by Saudi Arabia to protect its sovereignty, safeguard the Two Holy Mosques, and maintain their sanctity.

The statement also praised the alertness of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces in successfully preventing the attack. It underlined that the security of Saudi Arabia is closely linked to the stability of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
