Riyadh: The Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA), in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, announced today the requirement to submit a periodic industrial survey through the Industry platform. The submission is now a prerequisite for benefiting from the services of registering a factory or service provider on the mandatory list and adding a product to the compulsory national list of products, effective December 1, 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority and the ministry confirmed that completing the industrial survey is a mandatory condition for accessing the aforementioned services. Failure to complete the survey by the specified date will result in the factory's exclusion from the national factories list of local product sources published on the LCGPA website.

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources launched the periodic Industrial Scan program on February 25, 2025, to update data for all factories across the Kingdom. The ministry urged industrial establishments to promptly update their industrial registry information through the Industry platform to ensure the accuracy and continuity of national industrial data.
