Lebanese Interior Minister: More than 70,000 displaced people in shelters

Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi announced: “The number of displaced people in shelters inside the country is more than 70,000.”

Mawlawi said in a press conference: “The number of displaced people currently in shelters is 70,100, distributed over 533 shelters.”

He added: “We are working to secure all the needs of the Lebanese people,” indicating: “The aid of international organizations is not enough to address the crisis.
