Al-kharj: Al-Kharj Governorate witnessed Wednesday the launch of ‘Children’s Literary Week,’ organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, aiming to promote literature among children and develop their creative skills through a cultural program combining reading, arts, and content creation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Children’s Literary Week, which runs for five days, includes specialized workshops in creative writing and storytelling as well as reading sessions and art activities for children, presented by a group of writers and artists specializing in children’s literature.
The event also features interactive sessions and practical spaces that allow children to practice writing and drawing skills as part of programs aimed at developing their literary abilities and fostering creative imagination. The commission indicated that organizing the week in Al-Kharj is part of its plans to expand children’s literature programs across the Kingdom, noting that the events have seen strong attendance from the first hours.
