Madinah: Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz emphasized the vital role of the Civil Defense in ensuring the safety of pilgrims visiting the Prophet's Mosque. This came during his meeting on Monday with Director General of Civil Defense Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, who was accompanied by several Civil Defense leaders.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, Prince Salman was briefed on the Civil Defense's preparations in Madinah for implementing the general emergency plan for the 1446H Hajj season. He also reviewed key tasks and operations carried out by Civil Defense support units at the Prophet's Mosque and its courtyards to ensure the safety and well-being of the pilgrims.
