Madinah: The Islamic University of Madinah provided more than 35,000 internal and external transportation trips during the past academic year, serving over 500,000 beneficiaries, including students, faculty, and staff, by operating a fleet of more than 200 vehicles through a comprehensive transportation system offering 18 distinct services.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the internal transportation services included a wide range of trips supporting educational, administrative, and volunteer activities, as well as round-trip shuttles, ambulance services, and recreational transport. External services featured more than 600 ambulance trips, 200 dedicated trips for individuals with disabilities, over 120 trips to receive and bid farewell to international students, and more than 35 tours to key landmarks in Madinah.
These diverse offerings highlight the university's commitment to providing inclusive, responsive, and well-coordinated transportation solutions that enhance both academic and student life.
