Jeddah: Search and rescue teams of the Border Guard in Jeddah, Makkah Region, have rescued nine citizens and an Indian resident after their marine vessel broke down at sea and provided them with assistance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Border Guard advises adhering to maritime safety guidelines, including ensuring the seaworthiness of vessels before sailing. It also urges people to contact 911 in Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom, in case of an emergency.
