Makkah Deputy Governor Leads Virtual Meeting on Hajj Preparations


Jeddah: Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Permanent Committee Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz chaired a virtual meeting today with relevant entities to review the readiness of the Hajj ecosystem, including procedures, projects, and services.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting participants discussed the latest developments regarding the arrangements and plans of various entities for the Hajj season 1447 AH. The focus was on strengthening integration among the different sectors involved in the system to ensure smooth operations.



The meeting also covered the latest indicators related to readiness levels and involved discussions on plans for evaluating hypotheses and conducting field trials before the commencement of the Hajj season. Additionally, they reviewed the outcomes of discussion panels and workshops, which are part of the efforts to enhance early preparations for this year’s Hajj. The goal is to ensure a coordinated effort to serve pilgrims effectively.
