Marlon Bayer Secures Victory in Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship

Jeddah:Austrian driver Marlon Bayer of Wrap and Fly claimed his second victory in the 2026 Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship after winning Race 1 of Round 2 at Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi driver Abdullah Kamel of iCONNA by Aramco Digital finished second, marking the best Saudi result in the championship so far. The race featured 15 drivers from eight teams, with Bayer taking an early lead and Kamel advancing to second. Despite the close gap and Kamel's strong contention, two safety car periods limited his opportunities to overtake Bayer.

Bayer maintained his lead to finish 0.692 seconds ahead of Kamel. Welsh driver Archie Owen of 7.23 Racing completed the podium in third place, 0.958 seconds behind Bayer. Saudi driver Faris Organji was involved in an incident that ended his race, while among the female drivers, Rachel Robertson placed highest, finishing 10th.

The top three finishers were crowned by Mohammed Abduljawad, Chairman of ALTAWKILAT. Other top 10 finishers included Amin Kara Osman, Devin Walz, Zakaria Doleh, Georges Nassar, Veer Chopra, Hamza Alfayez, and Rachel Robertson.

Round 2, organized by ALTAWKILAT Motorsport under the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation's supervision, began with Free Practice 1 and Qualifying 1, where Isaac Seah set the fastest time. Kamel finished third in qualifying, with Kara Osman and Owen following.

The event also saw the Ladies Cup sessions and will continue with Free Practice 2, Qualifying 2, and Race 2. The Motor Mania Track Challenge is another highlight, featuring sessions throughout the day.
