JEDDAH: President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani and his accompanying delegation arrived in Jeddah today to perform Umrah rituals. At King Abdulaziz International Airport, the Mauritanian President was received by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, and several officials.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit underscores the strong ties between Mauritania and Saudi Arabia. The President’s arrival marks a significant moment as he joins numerous Muslim pilgrims in performing the sacred Umrah rituals.
