Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, has expressed his deep pride, as well as that of all the employees of the Ministry of Education in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's keynote statement to the school community on the beginning of the new academic year 2023-2024.

The minister stressed that the lofty values embedded in the royal message would motivate students and educational and administrative staff to do their utmost in serving the nation.

He also pointer out that the achievements and progress attained by all educational sectors in various fields are the result of the royal support for education, which is an essential pillar of the comprehensive development process.

Dr. Juma praised the efforts of the government, lee by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop the education sector through launching programmes and initiatives.

The minister also stated that the ministry has made increased efforts this year to fulfill its constitutional and legal responsibilities to provide distinguished and free education, in accordance with the best international practices in the field of education. It has worked continuously to provide all requirements to enrol students born between September and December 2017, ensuring that no one is left behind.

As a result of the support and assistance of the government led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the ministry was able to provide all the requirements for this academic year in a distinguished manner, which reflects the lofty royal visions and directions in developing education and caring for its outcomes, he said.
