Minister of Culture and French Counterpart Sign Cultural Cooperation Program in Paris

Paris: Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan engaged in a significant meeting with French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati at the Palace of Versailles. The discussions took place on the fringes of the Orchestral Masterpieces Concert in Paris during Prince Badr's official visit to bolster cultural cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two ministers signed an executive program for cultural cooperation involving the Ministry of Culture and the Grand Palais, represented by the French Ministry of Culture. The agreement aims to strengthen cultural relations across various sectors, including music, film, heritage, museums, fashion, libraries, theater and performing arts, and visual arts.

The meeting also focused on activating an executive program between the Film Commission and the French National Centre of Cinema (CNC) to enhance educational methods in filmmaking. Discussions also revisited the executive programs signed during French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Saudi Arabia in December 2024, aiming to foster international cultural exchange and broaden the expanding cultural partnership between the two nations.

Several officials were present at the meeting.
