Cairo, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, met here today with Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Anani, within the framework of his official visit to the Egyptian Republic to promote joint cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

At the outset of the meeting, Prince Badr reviewed the prospects of the Saudi-Egyptian cultural cooperation and the importance of developing them, based on the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the Kingdom and Egypt. The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of antiquities and museums as well as to revive the arts of Islamic civilization, especially in the exchanges of artifacts between the Saudi and Egyptian museums.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
