Berlin: Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel held a series of high-level meetings in Germany aimed at strengthening health cooperation, advancing digital innovation, and supporting the localization of medical technologies, in line with the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, AlJalajel met with German Federal Minister of Health Nina Warken to discuss cooperation in public health, biomedical research, and innovation. He also held meetings with the Federal Joint Committee and the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment, where he reviewed advanced German expertise in regulatory frameworks and risk assessment systems. The minister visited Bayer headquarters to explore collaboration opportunities in pharmaceutical innovation.
During a roundtable organized by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, officials discussed investment prospects in the health sector and avenues for expanding research partnerships. The meeting also saw the signing of memoranda of understanding between NUPCO and several German companies to support supply chains and promote technology localization.
The minister also met with Saudi scholarship students at the Saudi Embassy in Berlin, commending their contributions to the health transformation process and affirming the leadership’s commitment to investing in human capital.
