Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development launched a national initiative today to form the Kingdom's largest mosaic of the Saudi flag as part of its celebrations of the 95th National Day.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Shared Services Ismail bin Saeed Alghamdi attended the event, along with a number of the ministry's leaders and employees. The project, held at the ministry's headquarters, is part of a week-long program marking National Day, including activities at the ministry's headquarters and branches across the Kingdom, with wide participation from beneficiaries, employees, and volunteers.
The mosaic flag was assembled by volunteer staff from the ministry, along with beneficiaries, including orphans and persons with disabilities. More than 11,500 industrial helmets were used to create an artwork covering 600 square meters, embodying the spirit of National Day and affirming the unity and solidarity of the Kingdom's people under one flag.
The event concluded with honoring the participants who contributed to setting a new Guinness World Record title for the largest flag made of mosaic art, adding this achievement to the Kingdom's record of national successes.
