Doha: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is actively participating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at the 34th annual Doha International Book Fair. This year’s event, which features 522 publishers from 43 countries, is being held under the theme “From Engraving to Writing” and runs from May 8 to May 17.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry is highlighting the Kingdom’s dedication to promoting the Holy Quran and engaging with youth and contemporary values at the international event. The ministry’s section at the fair features publications from the King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex in Madinah, showcasing copies of the Holy Quran in various sizes and translations in at least 77 languages.

The exhibition section offers visitors insights into the intricate process of Quran printing, detailing the technical stages involved within the complex. This initiative aims to educate attendees about the Kingdom’s commitment to the Holy Quran and its global dissemination efforts.

As part of its participation, the Islamic Affairs section is distributing more than 10,000 copies of the Holy Quran, in various sizes and translations, as gifts to visitors throughout the exhibition. This gesture underscores Saudi Arabia’s dedication to making the Holy Quran accessible to Muslims worldwide.
