Riyadh: The Ministry of Media will launch the second edition of the "Global Harmony 2" initiative tomorrow, Sunday. This initiative is part of the Quality of Life Program, directly supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the aim of the initiative is to highlight the lives of residents in the Kingdom across all aspects, including their professional and family lives, their social and recreational activities, their contribution to the Kingdom's economy, and their success stories. It seeks to showcase the diversity and richness of their different cultures, their successful integration and harmony with Saudi society, and the ongoing efforts by both the public and private sectors to improve the quality of life in Saudi cities.
As part of "Global Harmony," the Ministry of Media is partnering with the General Entertainment Authority to host events within the Riyadh Season. These events will commence tomorrow, Sunday, targeting residents of Indian nationality in the Kingdom. The launch includes cultural, artistic, and folkloric activities and performances, with participation from prominent Indian media outlets.
The overall initiative, a partnership between the Ministry of Media, the General Entertainment Authority, and the Quality of Life Program, will feature events showcasing 14 different cultures. These cultures represent India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Ethiopia. The initiative highlights include concerts, traveling performances, family-friendly cultural and entertainment activities, traditional foods, and a variety of handicrafts. Citizens and residents of various nationalities will attend, and prominent media outlets from these represented countries will be present.
