Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has predicted that moderate to heavy rain, potentially leading to flash floods and accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds, is expected to fall in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, Eastern, and Najran regions. Light rain may also be experienced in parts of Madinah and Qassim regions. Additionally, gusty, dust-stirring winds are anticipated to affect these areas, as well as parts of Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk regions. Fog formation is likely during the night and early morning hours in some of these areas. According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will predominantly be northwesterly to northerly, traveling at speeds ranging from 22 to 50 km/h in the southern and central parts. As a result, wave heights may vary from one meter to over two and a half meters, indicating that the sea conditions will alternate between calm and choppy. Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be southeasterly to southerly with speeds between 15 and 45 km/h. Consequently, wave heights in the Arabian Gulf could range from half a meter to two and a half meters, with sea conditions expected to be calm to choppy.
