Mecca: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque activated smart multilingual interactive screens at the two holy mosques as part of the operational plan for Hajj 1447 AH, within its technical and awareness efforts to enrich pilgrims' experience and enhance their religious awareness.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the presidency intensified the operation of these screens on Friday night to broadcast verified religious content in line with crowd density and increased turnout during peak times. This initiative contributes to delivering awareness and guidance messages through modern and accessible methods.
The presidency noted that the interactive screens enable visitors and pilgrims to quickly access fatwas and religious guidance in their native languages. This contributes to correcting concepts, raising awareness levels, and enabling people to perform their worship with insight and reassurance. The screens are distributed across several vital locations within the Grand Mosque, including the Mataf expansion, the Saudi Portico (Riwaq), the King Fahd Expansion, and the Third Saudi Expansion, across more than 70 field points, offering content in more than 42 global languages, reflecting the inclusiveness of the message and its global reach.
It stressed that this initiative comes within an integrated digital system to enhance awareness services, leverage modern technologies to disseminate authentic religious knowledge, promote the values of moderation and balance in line with the objectives of the operational plan for Hajj 1447 AH, and expand the dissemination of guidance globally through modern digital tools and contemporary religious content addressing diverse audiences in their own languages.
