Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Musaned platform is a key tool for transforming the domestic worker recruitment sector in the Kingdom. In the first half of 2025, the Musaned platform achieved significant milestones by facilitating procedures, protecting the rights of all parties, and enhancing transparency.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Musaned platform recorded a significant increase in recruitment operations, with 417,000 transactions completed in the first half of 2025. The contract insurance service also saw notable growth, with 345,000 employers benefiting from it, reflecting increased awareness of contractual protection.
To enhance market regulation, the Musaned platform facilitated the transfer of domestic worker services, providing over 604,000 CVs for re-employment within the Kingdom. The number of individual-to-individual transfer requests surged to 229,000, while establishment-to-individual requests reached 8,559.
The Musaned platform has also introduced a mandatory electronic salary transfer service, ensuring a secure and transparent financial environment. The third phase of this mandate, covering employers with three or more domestic workers, was launched in July, with the fourth phase for employers with two domestic workers set to begin in October.
In its commitment to user experience, the Musaned platform streamlined operations, reducing the average arrival time for workers to 44 days, a 12.2% decrease compared to 2024. The Musaned platform also maintained high levels of service, receiving over 279,000 calls with an average response time of 30 seconds and handling 18,000 live chats and 29,000 in-app messages. It also closed 129,000 technical support tickets with a 91% satisfaction rate.
These achievements reaffirm the ministry’s commitment to creating a more transparent, secure, and efficient recruitment environment.
