Muslim World League Commends Saudi Initiative for Iranian Pilgrims’ Wellbeing

Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) has expressed its appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' directive aimed at ensuring the wellbeing of Iranian pilgrims. This initiative, based on the proposal of Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, seeks to provide comprehensive services to Iranian pilgrims until conditions are conducive for their return to their homeland. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the statement issued by the League's General Secretariat highlights the commendation from His Excellency the Secretary General and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa. He emphasized that this royal directive is consistent with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to offering comfort and care to pilgrims visiting the House of God. The leadership's dedication to overseeing the welfare of pilgrims until they safely return to their countries is an integral part of this approach. His Em inence also offered prayers for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, seeking divine reward for their services to the Two Holy Mosques, their visitors, and the Islamic nation. He also wished for the continued glory, security, and prosperity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
