Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned the continued Israeli attacks on the Lebanese Republic, the latest of which targeted members of the Lebanese army while they were carrying out their national duty.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa condemned these ongoing violations of Lebanon's sovereignty and the targeting of its army, describing them as a grave breach of all international and humanitarian norms and laws.

He also extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of the recent attack and to the Lebanese people as a whole, reaffirming full solidarity with the Lebanese Republic in confronting anything that threatens its security, stability, and sovereignty.
