Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa visited Al-Noor Mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, which was targeted in a terrorist attack during Friday prayers on March 15, 2019.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Issa also reviewed the mosque's current needs and met with survivors of the terrorist attack and the families of the victims. He reaffirmed the MWL's commitment to engaging with Muslim communities and continuing its initiatives and programs to combat hate-based ideologies around the world and promote the values of tolerance, coexistence, and social cohesion.
