Riyadh, In its daily forecast report on the weather in Saudi Arabia, the National Center for Meteorology said that thunderstorm rains are expected to fall on Jazan hights, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah extending to Hail, Al-Joaf, and Northern Border regions as well as parts of Qassim, Riyadh and Eastern Region, accompanied by cold waves and active winds that manage to reduce sight vision.

Accoring to the report, the surface wind movement along the Red Sea will be southwestern to northwestern along the northern and central parts at a speed of 12 – 32 km/h and southeastern to southern along the southern part at a speed of 25 – 24 km/h while sea waves increase by a meter to two meters, classified as a medium wave sea situation.

The surface wind movement on the Arab Gulf will be northwestern to north at a speed of 10-25 km/h while sea waves rise from half a meter to one meter, making the sea as of a light wave situation.
