NCVC Unveils New Investment Initiatives in Qassim and Makkah

Riyadh: The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) announced the launch of several investment opportunities in Qassim and Makkah regions: The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) revealed plans aimed at enhancing investment in environmental projects.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these investment opportunities are designed to encourage collaboration between the public and private sectors. The focus is on supporting afforestation, land rehabilitation projects, and preserving vegetation cover, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to protect the environment.

The proposed plans involve planting 200,000 fruit trees in Qassim's Buraidah Oasis Park (Part B), which spans approximately 8,449,260 square meters. Additionally, in Al-Qunfudhah Governorate, Makkah Region, wild seedlings will be cultivated over an estimated one million square meters. This will be achieved through the establishment of high-tech greenhouses dedicated to nurturing these plants.
