New First Aid Curriculum to Equip Saudi Students with Life-Saving Skills

Riyadh: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) confirmed that the new first aid curriculum included in the high school education program, starting in the 2025-2026 academic year, aims to equip students with practical knowledge to handle emergencies and promote a culture of community safety.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the new curriculum is an optional track for third-year high school students. Implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the National Curriculum Center, it is designed to be interactive and aligned with international best practices. The course introduces students to the basic principles of first aid and practical procedures for managing various injuries.

SRCA emphasized that this move is a strategic step toward building a healthy and safe society and will continue to be reviewed by experts to ensure its quality and effectiveness.
