New Rafha-Hail Road Marks Major Milestone in Saudi Arabia’s Road Infrastructure

Riyadh: The new Rafha-Hail Road, which is directly connected to the Hail-Baqaa Road, is one of the Kingdom's most prominent recently opened road projects. With a total length of 246 kilometers, the road enhances the land transportation network by strengthening connectivity among the regions of Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, upon completion, the road corridor will extend from the Northern International Road in Rafha Governorate, with a total length of 278 kilometers, and connect directly to the 414-kilometer Hail-Madinah Direct Road. The integrated route will facilitate movement and travel among different regions.

The road represents a vital artery within the Kingdom's interregional road connectivity network, contributing to serving pilgrims and Umrah performers arriving from the northern regions of Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries through a direct route passing through Madinah before continuing to Makkah. It also enhances transportation efficiency and supports logistics movement among the Kingdom's regions.
