Riyadh: Nusuk Marhaba, one of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's qualitative initiatives, welcomes pilgrims at the Kingdom's entry points through reception, guidance, and orientation services that ensure a smooth start to their spiritual journey.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program by serving Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers. The ministry stated that Nusuk Marhaba is built on a direct field presence at both arrival and departure points, aiding in streamlining entry and exit procedures, improving operational efficiency, and supporting pilgrims throughout their journey from arrival to departure.
Nusuk Marhaba teams offer reception and welcome services, guidance, and information related to pilgrims' journeys. They direct pilgrims to relevant services and authorities and assist with special cases and operational challenges. Qualified multilingual field staff are capable of communicating with pilgrims from various nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
Since the start of the 1448 AH Umrah season on Dhu Al-Hijjah 15, Nusuk Marhaba has served more than 922,913 beneficiaries. Under the approved operational plan, a total of 292 staff members have been deployed, with 4,033 field visits conducted to monitor service quality. The visits recorded only 34 findings, highlighting the efficiency of field operations and the high standard of service delivery.
During the 1447 AH Hajj season, Nusuk Marhaba served nearly 1.5 million pilgrims, underscoring its role in supporting them throughout the Hajj and Umrah seasons and enhancing their experience from arrival to departure. Operating at over 25 land, air, and sea entry points, Nusuk Marhaba helps organize pilgrims' movement and facilitates their transition through various stages of their journey, strengthening coordination among entities at the Kingdom's ports of entry and ensuring better services.
The ministry affirmed its commitment to continue developing Nusuk Marhaba, further enhancing its operational readiness and integration with relevant entities. This effort aims to deliver a distinguished arrival experience that reflects Saudi hospitality and ensures a smoother, more reassuring journey for pilgrims.
