Riyadh: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned a terrorist plot aimed at undermining national unity and stability in the United Arab Emirates, which was thwarted due to the vigilance of UAE security authorities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Secretariat affirmed its full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its security and stability, and to protect its territory from any threats.

It also reiterated its firm stance rejecting all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism, as well as incitement thereto, regardless of motives or justifications.
