Riyadh: On behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Deputy Minister for Protocol Affairs Ambassador Abdulmajeed Al-Smari on Monday offered condolences on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Ambassador Al-Smari conveyed the condolences during a visit to the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Riyadh, where he met with Qatar's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Bandar Al-Attiya.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Al-Smari also conveyed condolences to the government and people of Qatar, praying that Allah Almighty grant the deceased His mercy and forgiveness.
