Madinah: Livestock markets and slaughterhouses in the Madinah region experienced a significant influx of both residents and visitors on the first day of Eid al-Adha. They arrived to purchase and sacrifice animals, with the market offering a range of livestock at various prices. The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch, along with relevant authorities, ensured the event was well-organized and closely monitored.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the branch's daily bulletin reported that the slaughterhouses in the region processed a total of 18,407 heads of livestock. This operation was supported by numerous veterinarians, supervisors, and crowd organizers to maintain a smooth flow of people and animals.
