President of Gambia: Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit Seeks to Find Political and Economic Solutions to Palestinian Cause

Riyadh, President Adama Barrow of the Republic of Gambia emphasized that the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit aims to explore political and economic solutions for the Palestinian Cause, with the ultimate goal of achieving safe and equitable resolutions for all parties involved. He expressed his country's support for Palestine and called for a comprehensive ceasefire, highlighting that the Palestinian people have long been demanding their rights for over 75 years.

During his address at the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Riyadh, President Barrow expressed his deep concern for the unprecedented destruction of property in Palestine. He asserted that the most favorable option is to pursue a peaceful settlement through comprehensive peace agreements based on the principles of the two-state solution.

President Barrow urged for the immediate convening of a peace conference to actively seek solutions to the Palestinian Cause. He further called upon the international community to demand that the occupying forces adhere to the peace process, in alignment with international humanitarian law and United Nations resolutions, in order to achieve lasting security and stability in the region.
