Madinah: Islamic Republic of Mauritania President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani visited the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah yesterday, where he performed prayers and offered greetings to the Prophet (PBUH) and his two companions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit by President El Ghazouani to one of Islam's holiest sites was marked by his participation in prayers at the mosque. The President also took the opportunity to pay his respects at the graves of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his two companions, which are located within the mosque premises.

President El Ghazouani's visit highlights the ongoing diplomatic and religious ties between Mauritania and Saudi Arabia. The Prophet's Mosque in Madinah is a significant destination for Muslims worldwide, serving as a place of worship and reflection.
