Tripoli, Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity Abdel Hamid Dabaiba welcomed the final statement issued by the “Jeddah Security and Development Summit”, which stressed the need to hold simultaneous parliamentary and presidential elections in Libya, as well as the exit of foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya, The Libyan News Agency reported today quoting the PM’s statement on Twitter.

Dabaiba added, “Every day, the international position becomes clearer by rejecting a new transitional phase, and we commend the role of the United States and all friendly countries for their steadfast positions in supporting stability in our country.”
