Buraidah: The Qassim Fruits Exhibition opened yesterday in Buraidah, organized by the Qassim Principality together with the Qassim Chamber, drawing a large crowd of farmers and agriculture enthusiasts.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition runs daily from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. over three days, showcasing the diverse array of seasonal produce for which the Qassim Region is renowned. Visitors can explore a vibrant selection of watermelons, cantaloupes, strawberries, grapes, pomegranates, peaches, and figs. A particular highlight is the display of over 150 varieties of pumpkins, including giant specimens weighing more than 500 kilograms each.
Beyond the fresh produce, the exhibition offers a range of engaging activities. Attendees can enjoy live cooking demonstrations featuring pumpkins, sample various products at a dedicated tasting pavilion, and visit interactive educational and awareness booths designed to promote agricultural knowledge and enrich food culture among visitors.
