Doha: The project 'AI-Powered Smart Institutional Governance Platform for Higher Education' at Qassim University achieved an international distinction by receiving the Certificate of Excellence during the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). The recognition came among 1,595 projects submitted from various countries around the world.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the recognition underscores the university's leadership in adopting advanced technological solutions and advancing digital transformation in higher education through the development of smart platforms that enhance institutional performance and improve the user experience.

The project aims to provide a smart institutional governance platform that serves as a unified, trusted communication hub operating around the clock, connecting all university staff with various internal departments to accelerate access to information and support more informed decision-making.

The achievement reflects Qassim University's ongoing efforts to drive institutional innovation and develop smart governance systems in line with Saudi Arabia's digital transformation goals and Saudi Vision 2030.
