Riyadh: Qatari Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah highlighted the contents of the royal speech delivered on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at the opening of the second year of the Shura Council's ninth session.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Qatari ambassador praised the contents of the royal speech, which expressed support and fraternal solidarity with Qatar. He commended the positions of the Kingdom, as a leadership, government, and people, regarding the flagrant Israeli aggression and blatant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and the security of the region.

He also noted that the Kingdom's steadfast stance, reaffirmed in the royal speech, reiterated its condemnation of this grave violation of all international norms and laws, stressing the need for concerted efforts to put an end to such reckless behavior. 'This stance is deeply rooted in the Kingdom, as a leading state that consistently affirms its positions on the causes of the Islamic nation, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause and the rejection of Israeli aggression, while working to strengthen regional and international security and stability,' the ambassador said.

Ambassador Al-Attiyah praised the royal speech's references to the firm principles on which the Kingdom is founded, including upholding Islamic law, establishing justice and consultation, and serving the Two Holy Mosques. He indicated that these principles clearly contributed to the remarkable achievements realized in various fields. In this context, he noted the emphasis placed on the strength and resilience of the Saudi economy, particularly in diversifying income sources and boosting non-oil activities.

'These blessed efforts have resulted in a significant increase in both direct and indirect foreign investments in the Kingdom and in the entry of many global companies into the Saudi market, which positively impacts Qatar and all countries of the region,' the ambassador said. Moreover, he pointed to the wisdom and sound vision of the Saudi leadership, which has played a key role in achieving the current accomplishments across various fields.

Additionally, he stressed that the strategic directives and outlines set forth in the royal speech serve as a guiding beacon and reaffirm that the Kingdom is moving with confidence toward achieving its noble objectives and strengthening its distinguished standing among nations.
